This summer we are indulging out on the the cannels of Utrecht and I couldn’t be more thrilled. There is just something about being out on the water and experiencing the city from a different perspective. We had one of these cruises last year and it was something that we had to do again.

The menu for this event is going to be paired with wine cause why not! I’m still deciding on what the courses and had the idea of bringing back some of the desserts that you have been dreaming about from previous events. There have been many in the past that were really good a deserve a comeback !

After doing so many events I’ve created some pretty cool desserts and some of my favourite ones that make the made it to the list are:

Top Dessert List

Red cabbage Mousse with white chocolate and candied red cabbage Raspberry Mousse with Dark Chocolate and topped with Candied Bacon

Vanilla Sponge with a Spiced Buttercream and Tres Leches caramel topped with Crispy Chicken

Soy Sauce Mousse and with a Chocolate sponge, Candied Wild Mushrooms and roasted Hazelnuts

Those are just a few of my top ones that I can remember that are a bit out of the ordinary and proud of the end result. It’s a pity that I don’t have photos of the other two desserts maybe that’s s sign that I need to remake them… We’ll see haha!

Asparagus Dessert brainstorm

The idea is to have two of the courses to be the fan favourites and a new dessert to be a surprise ! I’ve been looking up sone seasonal fruits and veg and the one that spared my interest is Asparagus. It’s a fan favourite of many, can’t say that I am but it makes me wanna push the boundaries and see if I can make a tasty dessert

I saw a post recently while I was researching and it was an appetizer that had a lavender infused Asparagus and it made me that that its possible to flip into a dessert. I’ve had my fair share of lavender desserts but reading this post gave me the impression that it the Asparagus flavour is not really the hero but really there for texture.

This again is just my random brainstorming so I could be wrong and they actually compliment each other very well. I would have to test it to see how it turns out. Whether this will be the third desserts time will tell.

Spill your Dessert Dreams

If you haven’t gotten your ticket yet there are a few left as this will be an intimate session with only ten seats. Since we will be on the boat I will able to join you in the conversations more are present compared to the other events where I’m generally in the back plating everything.

Comment below on which dessert has been haunting you and want to try it again. There will be a tally of all the desserts, and the ones with the majority votes will make it to the menu !

If you haven’t joined the Club then be sure to subscribe and get updates on events, and pre-orders first before they sell out
