We are gonna be having our first pop-up where you will be able to get some or the Dessert Club fan favourites. The perfect way to dip your toes into our sweet world of funky flavours. Since our events are quite limited this is a great way to access what you have been missing out on, or hit repeat on some of your favourite desserts !
What is the Dessert Club?
A 3 course dessert experience with a beverage pairing included. Shared table dining perfect to meet new people and potentially make new friends. I started the Dessert Club to be able to meet likeminded people who could be my friends here in the Netherlands. Coming from South Africa and leaving behind core friends behind. Making friends as an adult can prove a bit little challenging so I took matters into my own hands by starting a Club. The bases of it being around desserts was well I’m a picky person when it comes to food and even worse when it comes to desserts. I missed getting excited about desserts and figured let me make what excites me and hopefully you as well. I mean who doesn’t love trying something new and delicious, hence the Dessert Club

Pop-up info

There will be 4 desserts available that have been labeled some of the favourites since we’ve been running the Dessert Club for about 2 years now ! It will officially be 2 years in March. I see this as a perfect way to celebrate 2 years of funky flavours, meeting new people and building friendships through the love of desserts and a good time !
I have set up a link where you will be able to pre-order some desserts, just an extra step to make sure that your sweet treat is secured and that there are no disappointment on the day, if you plan to arrive later. The desserts that will be available will be :

- Red bean Tartlet – Red bean Tartlet with roasted sesame seed white chocolate bark
- Chocolate Mushroom cake – Chocolate sponge with a soy sauce mousse, candied mushrooms and roasted hazelnuts
- Dark chocolate & Raspberry Mousse popsicle topped with Bacon
- Spiced Velvet Cake – Spiced velvet cake with Cream Cheese filing and Swiss Meringue buttercream topped with candied beetroot slices
The Red Bean Tartlet is a bit of a remix cause I had to make sure the desserts are take away friendly. The original dessert was a Red Bean Rice Pudding with Maraschino Cherries and Sesame Seed Brittle. I switched around the flavour profiles to suit the pop-up needs which is always exciting for me to create something thrilling for me to share with all of you ! If you would like to get a mini experience of the dessert and tea pairing then the Matcha goes perfectly with the Red Bean Tartlet π
